Upgrade 6.5 in screen to 8.8 in

I have an BMW 525i with 6.5 in screen and would like to upgrade it to a 8.8 in screen. Is it possible? I dont want to use it for navigation I would just like to have the larger screen. Anybody know if this can be done?

I try before. It will not show full size on 8.8 inch screen

It can be done but you will also have to upgrade your CCC to a CIC to take advantage of the additional viewing area.
