Unhappy Possible transmission issue?

Ok, here it goes. I have an E60 2008 528i with automatic tranny with just a tad over 50k miles. Just recently, when I lightly tap the P button to put the car in park, a caution sound came on with no warning lights or what so ever, and the vehicle would not go in P. I would have to press firmly on P for a second or two before the tranny puts it in P. Is this normal or there is an issue with my tranny? It never had the caution sound before, and the tranny would used to go into P when i lightly tap on the P button. Any suggestions would be highly appreciated. Thank you....

Anyone? Could this be an injector issue or Idle control module? Or do I just simply bump the idle?
