steering wheel trim?!

BIMMERPOST / Classifieds
Asking Price:
None

Item Interest
where can you purchase the steering wheel trim pieces? ive looked on tischer but cant seem to find the M ones specifically. my problem is the screw attachments on the bottom trim piece have broken but the piece sticks where it is because of the rubber cover on the center of the wheel (horn), it just bugs me knowing its broken. also my left trim piece is cracked so id like to replace that too.

if anyone knows where to source them at a reasonable cost please let me know!

part numbers or anything else helps.

The steering wheel trim pieces are about $170 + shipping -- part # 32348035326.

Steering wheel ///M emblem is a separate item for $6 -- part # 36112228660.

a few members have had luck getting it replaced under warranty. Ahhh, just noticed you are an 06. It might be possible if you have the extended plan, but doubtful.

Extended warranty doesn't cover interior issues, unfortunately.

170 isnt too shabby really. Especially when these should be considered a wear item...

$170 isn't too shabby for some cheap plastic pieces with a fragile rubberized coating that easily scratches off from a wedding band, finger nail, watch clasp, etc.?

I recently refinished my steering wheel control surrounds with Rustoleum enamel spray paint and the wrapped the outer trim with CF fabric.
