Into Enemy Territory: H&R Sport Springs + Meisterschaft GT Installed
Wanted to start out by giving quick shout outs to Remington Sepp of Ewing Mercedes, **********s and Dogs63 (David) for making this process 100% painless.
Not a big install, here, but definitely some fun goodies were put on the car this weekend. Remington, a certified Mercedes tech at Ewing Mercedes here in Plano, TX, performed the install. I've known him since high school and his work never fails to impress. He does work quickly, knowledgeably and at a great price. If anyone in the Dallas area needs work done on your car send me a PM and I can get you a quote. I chartered into enemy territory Saturday morning sure to turn heads. I can't tell you how many techs came up to chit-chat about the car. Everyone was legitimately impressed. Although the showroom was a bit empty, there were a few cars on the lifts that were fun to get my eyes on including multiple SL55's, 63's and an SLS rolled by the service bay. Started out with some H&R Sport springs to give the car a more aggressive look and to improve handling. These springs lived up to their expectations. The car now turns into corners much harder without sacrificing any comfort from the OEM springs. To be honest, I felt the stock springs might have been slightly less forgiving. However, the H&Rs don't disappoint as they ride smoothly when cruising and stiff when needed. EDC is obviously still 100% functional. Second up was the Meisterschaft GT. I owned a Encore Innovation full TI exhaust previously. I can 100% say that while I loved the Encore, the GT's exhaust note is leaps and bounds ahead. I couldn't be happier with the tone. It's extremely exotic and has the perfect amount of rasp/rumble. I would highly recommend this exhaust to those looking for more of an F1 V8 sound. There is absolutely no drone with this exhaust. The build quality is top notch and the design seems superb - can't go wrong with dual stacked canisters and split tips. On a dB scale from 1-10 (10 being the loudest and the stock exhaust rated a 3), this exhaust is right around a 6. It's not too quiet but is far from obnoxious. I rushed the video and it looks like there was a glare problem in the service area, however here is some of the footage I have from the day. Hope you enjoy. More professional pics and vids to come to show off the changes. Updated 4/22

Lots of vids to come.
Thanks for the compliments. The writeup, pics and vids were all rushed, but I wanted to get something up on the forums ASAP. I'll post some more vids tonight/tomorrow!

i could care less about this issue and i don't want to start any drama in this thread. appreciate the product for what it is. IMO, one of the best sounding exhausts for this car.

PMed. Thanks!
Anytime. More to come. The springs settled in nicely. Car looks great lowered on stock rims.

Can you just tell us how you decided to go with the H&R sport springs for your suspension mod. I cannot decide between Dinan Stage 1, Eibach, or something else. What made you decide on H&R Sport?

Loving the exhaust, she needs spacers pronto!
PKL, H&R has the lowest front drop of the companies you listed... which could have been his deciding factor like it was mine.
