Just picked up an 08 M3 - New to this thread
Finally sold my 2004 330CI w/ M Package and picked up an 08 M3 coupe two days ago. I am new to this forum and I do not know anyone. I'm in Toronto and I'm interested in the meet-ups. Below is a description of my car, please leave an opinion as to what you think about the price I paid. I feel a bit paranoid but hey I guess thats normal after buying a new car right.
2008 BMW M3 Coupe Alpine White 6 Speed Manual Transmission Extended Black Novillo Leather Executive Package Audiophile Package M-Drive Package EDC Carbon Fibre Roof Navi 33,000KM I paid $56,500.00 + $500 Admin Fee from the Dealer + Applicable Taxes. On autotrader there are cars with 48+ KM to around 55-60KM for low 50's so when I realized I can get a car with lower KM for a few grand more I closed the deal. .... this car basically has every package you can think of for the 08 M3 minus the 'high gloss trim' but personally I like the regular one only because I had a hard time taking care of the shine on my previous 330CI especially after a car wash. Let me know what you think! Last edited by Simma; 04-11-2011 at 09:13 PM.. |

Welcome to the board. You did pretty good. I purchased mine last Aug. CDN Car. I think the dealer had it underpriced based on what I had seen on autotrader. Mine is pretty much loaded too w/ DCT. The only thing I am missing is EDC I believe. My car was not CPO as I did not buy it from a BMW Dealership. The car has around 15,000 km now and I think I can recoupe my purchase price still if I were to sell it.

Welcome!
Sounds like a pretty great deal to me. Loaded M3's are the way to go in my view given the Dr Jackal and Mr Hyde nature. Although I certainly wouldn't sneeze at a GTS, but I may find myself asking why I didn't buy a GT3 in that case.

Congratulations on your newly purchase. You will enjoy the m3 for sure. By the way, don't give dealers any credits as you don't want to know how much mark up they have on the used M3s.

Nice pick-up! The specs are exactly the same as the one I picked up a month ago from Vancouver. However, mine was close to 60,000 Kms, but I only paid $50K. I guess it all evens out

Did you get a CPO? I pretty much got the same deal with few more goodies (winter and summer tires and rims and few more options) and CPO for $57800
