Test driving 2006 525i tomorrow. Need your advice please
I'm driving a 525i tomorrow. It's from a reputable non-BMW dealer so no worthwhile warranty.
The car is priced the best in the country. Full service history. BUT; the interior is pretty neglected, dirty and some buttons need replacing. But with full BMW service history. No rear parking sensors. Dealer says that can be done for $600. I don't need parking screen just the 'beeping' kind. Is this ok or will be conflict with electronics? It's done 45000km so petty low for it'd age. Is there any tips I can get from you as to what to look out for? |

Hey I just picked up an 06' 525i this week! Mine has 32,000km on it and it runs like butter!!!! Like you, there are a few items with noticeable wear and tear (not uncommon for a 5 year old car) but the ride quality and performance more than make up for it. I took into consideration what it would cost to get her "looking" new, and it is well worth it. Since you mentioned that it was priced "best in the country" and the service is A1 I wouldn't think twice if I were you. Trust me you will not be disappointed! Good luck! |
