Vredestein Ultrac Sessanta tire noise?

Hey Guys,

Looking to put new shoes on the M. Can anyone tell me if the Verds are quite? Or are they noisy in comparison to the PS2's.

Lets face it, its a daily driver so I don't want a noisy tire.

I have the Vreds, and they are quiet. More so than the PS2's. They ride a bit harsher, but other than that, they are equal or better than PS2's especially in the wet.

Thanks for the reply. Seems like a good deal. I have a dealer that will get me out the door for $1035.

Sounds a bit high. I had 255/35/19 and 275/35/19 delivered for 840 or so, IIRC.

This is mounted, balance, tax, etc. total.

How much did you pay for installation?

I ordered them online so no tax. Mounting and balancing, were 30 or so a tire, don't remember now.

mounting and balancing should be about $70 tops... getting from www.performanceplus.com is about 828+19 S&h +70 for Mount and balance should be 9xx

I'm happy with the Vreds. They are quiet, good in the wet, and seat-of-the-pants feel as grippy as PS2s. A little harsher ride, as was mentioned. I may try Michelin PSS next, though.

Pricing comments are correct. I got mine from Performance Plus and had them installed locally for $100, so well under a grand total.

I've been thinking of purchasing these tires as well. Can't find any info on if the tread lasts longer than the ps2's?

Have almost 13k on mine and have 5/32" F & 7.5/32 R left, which I think is beeter than I got with PS2s.

you wont regret the Vred's. you might have a lot of people saying you're tires are on backwards due to their unique directional tread pattern
