Really, that's why no one ships these and just does a local pickup only.

lol.... i sold mine for $150 SHIPPED... i basically got $75 for my muffler. seriously there is NO market for a used STOCK exhaust... sorry but you deserve to get flamed for asking so much for something that is worth almost nothing.

know what you are selling and know how much its worth before posting an asking price. what the MSRP is means nothing in the used car parts market.

If I could get 1000 for my stock muffler not just me but you would see 1000 stock mufflers for sale everyday! Lol! Just keep it unless you have no space for storage. You never know you might want to put it back!

See this post..

http://www.m3post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=501368 I don't think you will get $1000. As most have said at best $100-150, the stock OEM XPipe can be had for around $200-400.00.

LMFAO dude listen to yourself...we are trying to help you actually get rid of your OEM exhaust. But please go ahead, keep the price at $1000 and let me know when it sells, oh and for the love of God take an online econ class or something. Also, learn how to write in a way that doesn't make you look like a 15 year old who thinks he's the shit cause he has a drivers permit.

When everyone is getting after market exhaust what do you expect the stock exhaust value to be? It is a good system, but no one will pay anything closer to after market stuff.

As far as I know, there are some exhausts that are sold for $1000 brand new.

Prices are determined where supply and demand meet. If your price is too high, there is NO demand and that is the most fundamental rule of a market. Selling a used exhaust is totally different story from selling a used car because they are in different markets. You must have fallen asleep in your high school days.

Actually, a lot of used 08 M3s are selling for low to mid 40s

and they were valued at around 70k or so, plus tax (since back in 08, you couldn't get them near invoice)

So that is about half don't you think?

Guys, give him a break. He bought the exhaust used for $1200 and when it arrived he realized his 335i wasn't as close to an M3 as he was told... so it wouldn't fit on his car. Now he is just trying to get what he paid for it minus shipping. sic.
