Onboard 1M Video on road! Orange Wedge.

I was trying to kill time on Vimeo and then by pure coincidence, I found a video that I never saw before. This video is rather intriguing but I think it might interest some of you.

Unfortunately the music cover the sound but sometimes you can hear the engine revving high with a superb note!

I don't really understand who is behind this video. That appear to be for a personal blog from an automotive industry consultant http://http://blog.pavementtodust.com/. But so far nothing on the blog and the video has been posted 14 days ago?

Hard to say anything since there's only that one point of view. The VO looks almost red under rain.

Yes I agree on this video "Orange Valencia" look very red, "Blood Orange" could be a better name?

As we're all anxiously awaiting our 1M, and almost haven't seen any non-marketing or non-autoshow videos, it's easy to be delighted with whatever IRL video they throw at us.

But seriously, this video is a disappointment

skyphab is exactly right. I've photographed this car myself (at the Chicago auto show), and what I found is that the only way to attain a proper color representation is to use a gray card.

AWB will not work. Guessing at and fiddling with the temperature didn't work for me either.

I wouldn't be surprised if for the above video, though mostly well-done, the color temperature was not correctly set.

The car is not blood orange.

Yes I'm sure the car don't look blood orange in person but I think it is a very living color which will change a lot depending of light and environment. And for me thats great!

Since you have seen the car in person, could you offer any kind of info as to what the color actually looks like?

I'll try to post a couple of pictures this evening.

Briefly, the car looks more burnt orange than bright orange. Looks very, very impressive in person.
