I think I'm in love with this car
Got some new rear tires and am I happy. Only got to test drive it a couple of blocks before buying it, so today was my first real test drive
Top down, ripping through the gears......wow, what a car!!!

I think the E89 platform is nice...except for the extra weight. The only 2 cars I am interested in is the Cayman S and the Z4. The rest like the Mini Cooper S and the 135i are compromises. Lexus IS F is super fast car, but not too pretty. Congrats on your purchase to the OP. If you have open road, this car is super fun to drive!!! It'll the closest thing to riding a motorcycle even if it's a standard bike and just cruising around. The top down reminds me of riding bikes. |

+1 I ride and that is a very true statement. In some ways it's better. The Coupes are great but when the weather is nice and the sun is out, theres not much better. It's pure bliss.

just love the car
Sorry I mentioned the top down thing, I really was just reporting how much I loved the driving the car, not just the top down thing, at any rate, I'm thinking about an MC when my '10 328 is off lease

i gotta disagree with this point...
the car feels heavy and slow to me, even my previous 04 stage 2 STi feels faster then the IS-F sedan cars that i have driven in the same class that's really fast is C63 AMG so far...E90 M3 so so... Congrats to OP...can't wait until it gets warmer in Vancouver so i can go topdown as well...raining almost every day recently

Snowing here, that is why the coupe is what I prefer. If I want a top down experience I'll hop on something truely fast

+1 Still in love with my M Coupe and I love not seeing myself when I'm out, unlike when I had a Porsche.
BTW, the Lexus IS-F is fast. Its not pretty and is bloated, but slow? Your deeply confused. |
