Sad day for my M3

I can't believe this but I just picked up an '08 M3 3 days ago. Not even 24hrs on the road yet and some idiot already hit me from behind . My car was stationary and yet he still managed to bump it. WTF??? Some stupid kid in an '11 S4. Sucks for him too I guess since he picked his car up only for a week. I am still so f'ing pissed right now.

Now the passenger side rear bumper corner is dented in. Looks like I'll need to replace the bumper 100%. Also need to check for frame damage since there is a little kink on the 3/4 rear panel.

Filed a report. Now we'll go thru insurance. So can anybody recommend a bodyshop in Toronto? Preferably in Scarborough or Markham? So far I got the following recommendations from friends and family:

Excellence Auto Collision (BMW uses them I think)

Impera Auto Body

Thanks

Sorry to hear about the accident. At least everyone is okay.

Check this thread, Darklord had a good experience at European Autobody and it was recommended to him.

I have also heard good things about Excellence, havent used either of these places myself though.

Good luck with the repairs.

I have used Excellence a few times and I have been very impressed by the quality of Peters work. They do a lot of work for Parkview and have all the special tools for working on BMW's and have attended BMW training schools.

Sucks to be rear ended for some moron for sure,Sorry to hear.

Was the guy in the S4 running winter tires, or was he scooting around in March with summers?

Hope you repair your M3 to your satisfaction and quickly.

One good thing....at least an S4 would have insurance on it (hopefully) versus some POS hitting you without it...or worse yet, taking off.

Sorry to hear about your mishap, I'd be just as pissed.

I have used European Autobody in the past for my E46 M3. Very good work. You have to make an appointment with them, not the sort of shop you can just drop the car off. If you are going through insurance, use them, if you are paying out of pocket, you might want to look for another shop as they tend to be very $$$.

I was actually in a condo entrance picking up my brother fr fitness class. Car was parked but dude still managed to hit me. I think he was trying to pass around me on the right which didn't hv alot of space. Stupid thing is he could hv pass me on the left since there's at least two cars worth of gap space. WTF?? What a retard.

I want to thank everybody fr the well wishes and shop recommendation. I'll pass by T&C BMW tmw fr a estimate.

check out what some of these clowns are saying in the Audi forum

http://www.audizine.com/forum/showth...rear-ended-him

Guess Clarkson was right about Audi's and cocks. I didn't even insult Audi or make a stereotypical comment about Audi drivers even though it was an Audi that hit me. Yet these clowns are happy I got hit. Jesus

Bryan means no harm...he's just a joker. We give each other shit all the time outside the forum, he was more poking fun at me(ex-audi driver) than you. He's a car enthusiast first, Audi fan second...

That is a totally harmless thread. Poking fun at BMW's and Audi's. Shrug.

Just have your insurance company contact Ben (Bunnn). Since he used to drive an Audi, he is most likely at fault for your accident......

Back on topic, if you're going through the kids insurance ..why not use European Autobody and get a loaner/rental? It should be all covered anyways...

European Autobody is owned by Maranello Ferrari/BMW ...and the general consensus is that if price is not an issue they are the ones to go to.

I've attached a list of BMW Certified Collision Centres and European Auto-Body is on the list. Good luck with the repairs.

Yeah, I was about to bring to European Auto but they are a bit far compare to Excellence. I am not too far away from Town+Country. Also heard good things about them so that's the story. At least I got a '10 C300 loaner. Not too shabby I guess, but definately a down-grade

Oh, below pic says a lot about Audi drivers. Notice the boat was stationary yet the Audi still
managed to hit it. Sorry, couldn't help it :P
