Bluetooth woes.. ah fving a

I almost had a heart attack that the bluetooth wasn't working. It would not pair with my vz iphone.. Try resetting my phone and rebooting with no luck. Anyone paired a vz iphone 4 with their car ?

So luckily I still have my 3gs and att iphone, they both pair up no problem, the vz iphone just refuse to pair. I do have the bt on the other 2 phone turned off, so nothing to interfere with the pairing.

Does our bt holds X amount of pairs ? is there a clear existing pair thingy ?

Thanks, i hate to go back to the att iphone..

it works, I have paired my car with probably over 10 phones at this point (I had to test some new VZ droids for work and hooked them all up to my car).
PS, i see youre local-ish. Maybe if you cant get it fixed, you can bring it out to one of the spring meets and let others give it a try

Just got my iPhone 4 yesterday. Paired it with no issues. Did you try clearing all paired phones? Maybe you maxed out the number of phones that can be paired?

I didn't know there was a way to do this. Can you elaborate on it?

Clear it on the vz iphone or on the bmw side ? Its a new phone, so was never paired. Ill have to try it again. Looks like it might be the phone, tried to pair it with co-workers hands free, a blue ant speaker, motorola hands free and a jawbone, non of it pair with the vz iphone... looks like ill be visiting the "genius bar" or something

I am sorry I don't have any details on that. I remember having a similar issue on my wife's car. I thought maybe this system is similar.

Its my phone, my coworker just walked in with a new vz iphone and let me borrow it to pair with the car.. took a video for the genius bar to speed up my exchange..
