Tires sizes, spacers and rubbing issues...

Ok, so I'm about 90% set on getting Vreds for my new tires and just wanted to get opinions on sizing. I'm thinkin about going with 255/35/19F and 275/35/19R on OEM 220M's. I want a little more tire and it seems that those are popular replacement sizes amongst people in the community.

My questions are, will going with the larger rubber push the tires out further enough to give me a bulldog stance? I was thinking of doing 12mm spacers front and rear, but with the larger tires will I need to do the spacers?

Also, will the larger tires cause any rubbing issues on a stock suspension?

Thanks in advance,
Nick

Iam running 245/275. First thought was to install 10mm spacers allaround. But after learning some info from here and looking some pictures ive desided that 5mm is maximum for the rears. 10-12mm is most popular "pack" for the rear for stock wheels and tyres, when you go 275, you add 5mm to the each side of the wheel, so 5mm spacer is max.
Conserning front, i think you will have more place for choosing, front arches can acommodate much wider track i suppose. As for myself, I would probably go with 5mm also, not to ruin factory suspension tune.

Check the Linked Thread

This guy is having problems with 265/35's and 12.5 MM spacers on the rear.

Running VREDs on the stock 19s, 12/10 spacers, lowered on Eibachs, and have a slight rub in the front on full lock. From what I was told by the tech at a local sponsor was that the increase in size would affect both the width and height of the tire. Not overly concerned, but then again I'm not thrilled about the rub. But I needed some inexpensive tires while I wait on the other mods.
