Way to determine all features/packages installed?

Is there some way to determine exactly what features and options have been installed on our cars by VIN # or something.

Like extended leather - I think I may have it, but not really sure.

Wondering if I can see something like original sticker by doing a search I don't know about.

http://www.bmwmdata.com/Home.html if its an M. otherwise maybe real oem and i know there is also one other site, though the other sites arrent close to the data on the Ms as bmwdata

if your roll hoops are covered in leather, you have extended leather. also the complete door panels, center console, and the sunvisor area

Thanks for tip on the leather. I have a coupe, but the sun visor is leather, so I suppose I have extended leather.

Gonna go on the suggested website above to see what else I can learn.
