Catless- how long before CEL comes on?

Driven 10miles and nothing

It Varies. Mine came on after about 50-70 miles, once I opened it up on the highway the light came on.
I've heard from people it comes on instantly or even a few hundred miles.

Will I be ok without a tune for a week? Or limp mode?

I picked up my car Monday after a service and a software update which cancelled my AA software, 25 miles into the drive home, got the emmissions CEL. You should be fine, shouldn't go into limp mode.
