Hi Fellow Members,

Let's start a list of people who are actually doing ED maybe a meet could be scheduled

1. Gtrain - June

2. Papethova - 9/1 or 9/5

3. NihonX - ASAP (Whenever I get my slot)

4. EA51 LAY - Sept 6th - 21st (if my ED request submission is accepted!!)

5. ///M1 - July 2x

6. kirkx5m - May 6th

9: 21450- June 8th

10. Snowfro - June 17th

13. Chipped B6 - June 15th M3 E93 family, then me and my son with his 1M in mid July.

Well, my dealer has my deposit, but so far thinks he's only getting a single 1M allocation for the year. I strongly suspect supply will loosen up later this year, but obviously we'll have to wait & see.

I'm looking to do ED as late as possible, ideally around March of 2012, but late 2011 if I must.

I'm not sure if I qualify for the list yet.

I've got my deposit in, and will absolutely be doing ED if I'm able to get the car.

Late October ED would be ideal for me, in every way.

ok so how do the dates work? Dealer called me today asking me to pick a date (and 2 other backup dates) I think he said all May pickup dates were gone.

Dates work as indicated by your dealer. You give him 3 days in ascending order of priority and hope you get filled.

ED'ers- Wouldnt you be worried about ED at the end of the year about the season in Germany? I understand that they get some snow sometimes. It seems like a summer ED would be the most fun. I'd for sure drive down to nurburgring in summer.

Ya, but no one is getting to pick their production window. We're just praying for something earlier than a Nov/Dec build!

Going at the end of the year is a concern in regards to the season but you get to save money on your car purchase and can use that towards a vacation instead of into the car so I believe it's still okay.
