Sound of akra slip on...is there any??

If I get this axle back system, will I even know im running an exhaust?

I read everywhere on this forum that it is not very loud at all.

So basically, I like the look of this alot but I like the sound of eis race. But there is just no way I am going to run a full system because I don't want cel and any code mods. I only want cat back.

Confused...

Yes if u replace ur oem with any catback u will notice u are running another exhaust... Eisen race is LOUD u will definately notice even on just an axle back...

Although some exhaust like my Akra is just way too quite so im getting an xpipe and since i paid a lot for this might as well get the full potential....

oh BTW the akra slip on is just way too quite for me... Video with akra slip on is LOUD but quite in person....

sometimes i open my window cause i dont hear anything from my exhaust. so if you want just an axle back get the GINTANI RACE, Gintani race is loud for an axle back well its perfect...

I drive with my windows down most of the time. Would I evn hear anything then?

I always hear most ppl who get the slip on end up getting the xpipe cuz it's not originally loud enough but I want it loud enough that it can be heard going normal driving. I hardly go screaming down the fwy at wot.

I went from having an xpipe to just the slip on Akra. You definitely notice it even with windows up

If you want to go with just an Axle back, check out RPi's offerings, you won't be disappointed with the sound and power gains

You'll definitely notice the difference with a Akra Slip-On in exhaust tone.

However, I'll warn ya: most people that purchase a Slip-On end up returning to have the X-pipe added on within a couple of weeks.

If I am standing outside the car and u drive off normally can u still hear a difference?

Saw a few videos and it does seem loud but still can't tell.

All the revving videos sound loud to me buy even my stock exhaust sounds loud when I rev it.

I just want it to be somewhat loud when driving normal city driving

It's basically hit or miss for me since I won't go for the full system at least until warranty is up.

It's not loud. It's a very subtle mod. People who know the car will definitely know there's an exhaust on it. People who don't will think it came from the factory with a really good exhaust. It fits the car nicely. You won't be turning heads everywhere you go though. If you want attention you'll need something louder

This is a great description and exactly what a lot of people are looking for... a subtle sound upgrade without screaming "hey world, notice me". Not that there is anything wrong with that, just that not everyone wants the louder sound.

To me, this subtle sound and tone change is why the Akra is great.
