Question Need Help w/ Eisenmann exhaust purchase/decision

Im trying to buy an Eisenmann lemans race for e92 here with connecting pipes and just inches away from putting the order in BUT im torn because I think that the tips will stick out further than i want.

I want the tips to be flush with the rear bumper when standing behind the car looking directly down at it, and not seeing anything at all. I do understand that when its hot, it will stick out an inch, which is fine to me if the tips are flush with the bumper when cold. Because there is no way i want it sticking out 2 inches when the car is hot. Ive talked to a few vendors and some say it will stick out 1-2 inches, while others say you can make it perfectly flush with the rear bumper like how OEM is. so im confused.

I have searched a ton of threads and pics and i just cant find a good representation of this setup from the side angle and top down birdseye view. All the pics i have found have the rear diffuser installed. I do not want a diffuser on my car at all, and maybe its making me think people are getting it because the tips stick out too much....

Can someone who has this setup w/o diffuser post their pics here or maybe chime in and tell me how much they really stick out? For sure the youtube videos by eisenmann show the tips stick out like 2 inches or more...which is what's currently bothering me.

thx for ur help

I'm still looking for a side shot but here is a shot of the Eisenmann tips from the back. With a proper install the tips should look just like this.

thx for that pic. lookin forward to the side one if u find it

is that a picture of the tips when cold? or is that after running hot?

because if that picture is cold, then it would stick out one more inch further then that?

Bro, I dont care what anyone says. There is no way the tips expand 1-2 inches when hot. Not possible. I wouldnt think twice about it.

Are the tips flush with the bumper because the mufflers were welded onto the stock pipes? it doesnt look like this car has the connecting pipes from Eis. so, would that mean i cant use the connecting pipes if i want to achieve this exact look?

Again, thanks a lot everyone for the helpful replies

I can tell from the install they are clamped to the OEM piping. The oem pipes and the Eisenmann ones follow nearly the same path. You'll have the same placement / adjustability with either connecting pipe option. The benefit to running the Eisenmann connecting pipes is that you wont have to hack up your OEM system.

I like the first pic that you posted better, Nate...

...Because you can hit reverse and waste someone's shins if they get too close to the back of your car
