Interest in Intravee units? I "should" be having some to sell very soon,

Just wanted to cross promote this thread here for a little more exposure,

I need to see exactly how many people are up for one of these,
As mentioned I'm looking to fill 10 names, but not in a group buy style,
Sadly price remains the same, but final pricing and time frame is being figured out now,

See my thread in the Audio section too

Very simple,
Just plugs into the factory CD changer wires already in the trunk,
No coding needed, fully plug and play

Can anyone confirm if the Sirius/XM app on my iPhone will work in the car with this? If so, I'm sold.

No it will not.

The KCA-420i does not support ipod control mode, which would be required for any iPhone app's audio.

No, you get a SIR-ALP1 Sirius receiver, plug it in and have real sat radio just like factory sat radio.

I'm very interested. I emailed them directly a couple of times and never got a response. Little dissapointing to be honest.

I'm going to call them today and see whats going on,
By the feelers I have put out on forums I can sell more than 10 units, but I think 10 is what I have arranged for now,

Just got to see if it comes through!

BTW the new extra menu in 6.02 is awesome lol,
I updated mine last night and its so cool to see all those features!

If you want a copy of the new firmware lemme know and I'll email it to you,

New features are listed here

I really like the data logging thing, and the car data is pretty cool,
Shows you how many G's you pull upon acceleration and braking

Dumb question.

Could I use this unit to control both an ipod and an external XM radio, with all those units mounted in the trunk (except the XM antenna, of course)?

Can anyone tell me how this will function in a car like mine, without the NAV screen?

And - how much?

The XM radio would have to be one of the approved Alpine AiNet units in that link I provided above,
It does work for cars without Nav but obviously full benifit would be with a nav setup,

Pricing is still being figured out Hope to have an answer very soon!

This is exactly what I'm looking to do except I have the nav. I have the KCA-420 ipod interface ($85 ebay) and the ALP-1 Sirius module ($25 ebay). Depending on your ipod's age you may need an adapter for the 420 since it will only charge the older - pre 2008 -12v firewire ipods. It'll still work on newer ipods but won't charge without the adapter. I just bought, but haven't received yet (ebay), the TUA-T020XM XM module since it was only $20 and I have XM in my other car and I'm used to what channel is what. The hard item to get is the Intravee!!! Thanks Starscream for putting this together.

As far as non nav - it looks like the Intravee users guide does a pretty good job of showing how the display will appear.

Ok guys,
Shipping, logistics, and everything all sorted!

I shall have them IN HAND Tuesday! Ready to ship right away,
I'll wait until I physically have them (and see what my import duty was ) before I accept any payments,

Managed to secure 10, depending on how this goes depends on future stocking of them!
