Pic Request: ZCP EDC + Eibach Springs

Sorry if this has been requested before. I have seen loads of Non ZCP Eibach setups but no pics of the drop with a ZCP Car.

FYI the spring rates for the Eibach are as follows:

Front - 171 lbs per sq in
Rear - 685 lbs per sq in

Does anyone know how this compares typically with the OEM springs?

TIA!

Nice!!! This won't affect the stance but did you shave the strut guides and install e36M3 bumpstops as well?

Ask and you shall receive!!!

The car has Eibach Springs and E36 Bumpstops. Ride is great, and it is hardly any stiffer than the ZCP springs (actually seems to ride better than OEM over choppy bumps but is ever so slightly stiffer than OEM over larger bumps). One thing I noticed is that the front seems to sit lower on a ZCP car with eibachs as compared to a Non-ZCP car. I think this is due to the spring perches being mounted lower (10MM) on the ZCP Dampers compared to the non ZCP Dampers. I personally find the stance just perfect.

I will post some photos with the OEM 359M ZCP wheels installed in the spring when the car comes out of storage.

If you would like to see more photos of the car click on the link in my signature to go to the original thread that was posted by IND.

Your guys cars look awesome!!

Am I having problem or Eibach Springs are same height as the ones in ZCP? Comparing the pics above to my car, I can't really tell if they are lower?

It's a really subtle drop. I'd say maybe .25" on the front, almost no drop for the rear.

from what i read eibachs will make your car sit lower then ZCP springs. not by much but noticeable in person.

I agree that the drop is very subtle but it is indeed more than 0.25" in the front. I think you will find that your car is going to settle a bit over the next few weeks. The final drop is going to be about 0.4"-0.5" lower than OEM in the front and about 0.15"-0.2" in the rear. The rear is hardly a noticeable drop even after it settles but the front is very noticable. IMO the stance on eibachs is perfect.

Give your car a little while and you will see what I mean about the settling You will love the final stance.

E1000, do the spacers affect any of the EDC settings or DSC? The car sure looks nice with those spacers and the drop.

Thanks!!!!!!

Neither the spacers or the springs have had any negative effect on the car. EDC, DSC, etc etc all work as intended.

There are some actual real world ride height of different setups in this thread for ref. The rears can differ a little depending on how much fuel is in the car.
