Today will be about 72 straight hours under 32 degrees. Setting a new record....just in time for our city to shine. Great! Just Great! 6 more inches of snow today.

No, I'm not going.
I actually prefer to watch it from the big screen at home.
Refreshments are cheaper and I like to drive the wife crazy backing up the video and running the play over and over in slow motion.

72 straight hours under 32 degrees? We haven't seen temps above 32 degrees yet this year! I had wanted to be in Dallas this weekend, but then my Patriots crashed & burned

Quite entertaining watching Dallas drivers deal with snow this week. Actually quicker getting between DFW and Southlake than usual, due to so few people out driving. Just had to weave around the white-knuckled drivers doing 10mph on the 114 (plus the driver of an old caprice stopped in the middle of the freeway scraping his windshield).

There is no way I could get that close today. I think they have that street closed off.
I was standing across the street in a Walmart parking lot taking those pics. They asked Walmart to shut down today...for security reasons. It is VERY close to the stadium, probably 150 yards or so. I think they really needed the parking lot.

Yeah, lots of idiots driving around on the ice. I just stayed in.

My Z4 has been in the shop for a week. I miss it but if it was going to happen in Dallas, this past week was a good time for it. No salt, snow plows or even snow blowers here, they throw a bit of sand on the highway and that's about it. And of course few people have experience driving in snow here or have the right tires for it. It was a good time to stay off the road.

I feel bad for all the restaurants and other businesses that were counting on doing big business, though.

Ok. Anyone saw a Z4 on tow truck during Super bowel weekend cause it could not climb a 10 degree hill in snow in Dallas. That is me.
