Trunk organizers and/or mats?

Alright, BMW no longer carries ANY trunk mats for the M Coupe.

They list a part number for the rubber mat but if you order it, it's a non-M shaped mat (ie doesn't have the cutout for the batt area)

So...

What do you guys use to keep stuff from sliding around? There must be some secret??!!

I saw an unfolding trunk organizer at target, but it looks like something that would slide all over the place...

Help!

Are you sure? I ordered the OEM mat from Nalley BMW for the Z4M coupe back in 09 and it had the cutout. Maybe your dealer ordered the wrong part number?
This is the one you want as it fits perfectly and has a great lip.

I am 110% sure. They have a way of searching other dealer inventory and no one has that rubber mat - period. I've tried all the usual online places, I've put my ~$100 down about 4 times just to have it refunded when the mat never shows up.

Finally one of the parts people sat down and called BMW NA, and was told it's no longer in production.

When I started all of this you could still get the carpet M mat, but now it too is not available.

Have you looked at your local sports places? You can probably get a mat that is used for Yoga or exercise of similar weight material and then just cut it to fit with the proper knife? I have been thinking about doing that for the back of my roadster. I did this when I had the Vette and it worked out great.

That sucks. I think the mat was made by MacNeil Automotive Products(the WeatherTech guys) so maybe a call to them(800.441.6287) would yield some results?

Try the classifieds, I requested one on there and got one from someone who didn't need it anymore.

Are you sure you got the right part numbers? I went to two different dealers and neither one could find the correct part numbers for the trunk mat. I ended up having to tell them these part numbers myself in order to get the correct mat ordered:

Rubber Trunk Mat
- Part #: 82-11-0-420-508
Carpeted M Trunk Mat
- Part #: 82-11-0-417-601
