Bmw performance exhaust @ the Rolex

I'm at the Rolex so sorry for the short post. Exhaust was on the 2 PDC cars that are here. They just installed them before the ride down. Sounds great at idle, much deeper than stock. They did a few laps as well and you could hear both cars throughout the track. I'll update with photos tomorrow if I can figure out how to do it from the iPhone

Btw, //M logo looks badass on the tips.

maybe those were the two that were in the system a couple months back that everyone saw that stated that they were slated for BMW. interesting. that would be awesome if you could have gotten a video!! or a sound clip!

Turner was leading. Said had an awesome start. They started falling back 2 or so hours back.

Hard to tell. The instructor does say the car is "bone stock" near the beginning of the video, so maybe not. BMW created some marketing videos of the exhaust back in December -- I don't know why those haven't surfaced yet.

your prob right but remember the 2 performance exhaust that were in the part system that were slated for BMW only? could have been these? like you said to hard to tell

my dealer in NC had it in their system and quoted 4K for the CAT Back system.

Guys don't get too excited it really isn't a M3 anyways.

Chassis is a one off tube frame.

Body is a one off carbon fiber body.

It doesn't even use the S65 V8, it uses the S62 from the E39 M5.

All dealers and resellers have it in their system, but it's currently listed as NLA, which means that it's not yet available for ordering.

$4,000 is the retail price but many vendors like Tischer have already listed it for $3,500.

Those videos are definitely from yesterday but only 2 cars had the new exhaust. One was a coupe the other a sedan.

Anyone looking for an M school deal should call 888-345-4269 and mention Daytona 24. Deal ends on Feb 4th. 2 day M school is normally $3295. Special price is $2505. They said it includes hotel, helmet and a gift.

It sure looked like an S65 but i'll go back by this morning and look again.

The Turner M3 in the Rolex GT class 100% uses the S62 from E39 M5.

Can you do the 2 day M school without doing the 1 day first? Or is the 1 day like a prerequisite for the 2 day?

Yes, no pre-reqs other than age for basic m school, the advanced m school has a requirement of already having completed one of the high performance classes
