The 1M coupe serves as a great subject for a photo centerfold - auto erotica for us BMW enthusiasts if you will. Not a fair comparison!. The new Stig isn't likely to be Ben Collins is it?

@ Alice. Looks like the photos were taken in the Top Gear studio, should hope it's a UK car!

Don't know when the magazine comes out but it wasn't on the shelves today. All I could see was February issue.

After seeing this, the first words that came to my mind were:

"Dear Lord...!"

This car is becoming like a drug to me! And now this photo just gave me the final kick! I am totally oversold now! I don't care if it's pure or not, whether it has a M-unique engine or not, whether people like the VO or not... For me this is the perfect car on the market right now! Thank you BMW for building this car and bimmerpost for posting this stunning photo! I really hope the car will make an appearance in the next episode of Top Gear!

They also mention a price tag of £40K, so must be UK.

Not a big fan of the magazine, but will def get this one!

Just zoomed in on the first pic (front of the car) and at the bottom of the page it says january 2011 ... Anyone know how we can get a previous issue if the new one is on the shelves?!

I love the aggressive front, back and side wheel arch's.

I just wish it was an couple of inches longer and an inch less taller roof line. Then it would be perfect.

Also, why does it not have the LED angel eyes found in new 5er and 3er. Then it would be perfect.

Has BMW given the official Nurburg. time for 1M.

The official ring time was 8:12...10 seconds faster than the E46 M3 and 7 seconds slower than the E92 M3....

Next 1er gets new headlight design, but the 1M got the E82 LCI treatment on the headlights...
