What exhaust setup provides the most gains? And do people tend to sacrifice gains for a better sound, for example using eisenmann tips with an AA x-pipe or something.

The Akrapovic Evolution system consistently shows gains of about 25hp to the wheels.

Alternatively, the RPI full exhaust system (section 1 + 2 + 3) also has shown proven gains of around 28whp and is a bit more cost effective...
