This is from another forum, but thought it was worth sharing here given how BAD it was.

Wow that's incredible. I could never understand people who can live with themselves while installing poorly constructed safety equipment into a car. How could the guy that built that cage install something so clearly unsafe and then still feel decent?

Good lord, that would cause more harm than good.

Amazing that a so called "professional" would install something like that! Even more amazing that they denied any wrong doing when confronted! Karma baby...

Imagine all the pipes poking out all over the place in a crash?

I should be criminal to make a cage like that. I thought you guys in the states could sue anyone for anything! just kidding
I am sure he could have tried to sue to get his money back, but probably not worth the cost and time. Seeing how he cut it out now, probably a moot point. Hopefully his website will guilt the shop to giving him his money back so he takes it down...who knows. Just a good thing he found the problem and was able to correct the situation for himself just in case he ever needs to rely on it. |

It's probably a good thing they denied wrong doing and pissed off the OP of that thread. If they acted differently then maybe nobody else would have found out about this shoddy work. Hopefully this now will be corrected soon.
