Folding seats in the 1M?

This topic has been discuss before but I'm just wondering if there will be folding seats in the 1M we never had any clear awnsers. For the one of you that has seen the 1M at the Detroit auto show you might ben able to clarify the situation. Or Scott if you read this maybe you can help too. According to the fact that the version at the auto show is a pre production model and that sometime it is just a 135i with 1M parts that might confuse the things even more.

Yes. There are split folding rear seats. I was able to fold them down in the Black sapphire car at Leipzig.

M3adjuster was one of the lucky 12 enthusiasts worldwide who won a trip to Leipzig in December (I think), to drive final prototypes and tour the BMW production facility.

I guess you're new to this part of the forum? ;-)

I thought the ski bag was part of the pass-through system, which you can only get if the back seats have an armrest in the middle. 1M, and 1 series in general, do not have the fold-down armrest, so no possibility of the ski bag. At least that's how I understand it.

But the ski bag can be ordered separately for the 1M. Or is this something different?

The 1M at the Detroit Auto show had split folding rear seats, with a center pass-through (The pass-thru did not have the ski bag attached)
