Two door wagon/ coupe with a fast back. Used in old times as a vehicle to take you hunting in a luxurious manner. Therefore it's shooting break. But the spelling has been an ambiguous concept.

Here's a true story about a "shooting break" then.

My father-in-law was the Sheriff in Kemah, TX many years ago. He passed away in '96.
He was a Democrat.
He was very active in local politics and always helped LBJ get re-elected to Congress every few years. Apparently the Sheriff was in charge of the "political machine" in that part of the country.

Well, he was also in charge of the local security everytime LBJ would come through his county (near Houston). So they developed a close relationship.

In payment of his friendship and political support, he would invite several "supporters" to his ranch near Austin, TX to hunt white-tail deer in the fall.
They would all be wearing suits??, carrying rifles, standing up through the sunroofs of the limousines driving through the pastures killing deer. Then LBJ's farmhands would follow along behind the caravan of limos and pick up the deer and butcher them.
Crazy but an absolutely true story! He went on several of these hunting trips for many years. I heard it from his own lips.

OMG... I've just found the replacement to my beloved MC

Not feeling the braces for a front grill though, but that can be changed.

I think it's very unique looking. Perhaps you'll see a few more shooting brake designs from other manufacturers if this car gets the hype it deserves. Hey, maybe BMW might just think it's a good idea to make a z4 shooting brake.

^ that Z4 might arguably look better than the Ferrari from the front, too!

Reminds me of the Alfa Brera...
I can live with the design, but AWD???? That's just wrong.

Question is: whether people with the wherewithal to afford a Ferrari will want a Ferrari with more than the usual practicality. AWD, and space to spare is nice for four people, but if you're going to take four people with you, why not take your [insert large luxury sedan or SUV]. A regular 2+2 GT like the 612 should have enough luggage space for a couple on a weekend trip and has arguably more sex appeal when parked at the fancy restaurant / club/ etc...

Ferrari is bold for offering this as their only body style right now for the FF. (Even the z3M coupe started off as a more popular convertible) I wonder if Ferrari has backup plans to offer a regular GT coupe version if sales are not good.

I would love to see this in person though---it probably looks smaller than it is.
