1st Upgrade - exhaust?

I'm considering changing my exhaust for my first mod and I have only looked into the Eisenmann Race exhaust so I wanted to know if you guys knew of anything else that might be better or maybe a bit less expensive. My buddy had the Eisenmann Race on his M5 and it sounded amazing. I like the deep sound at low speeds while getting those higher F1 sounds at higher speeds. Can anyone recommend a good local authorized dealer in the CA Burbank area or somewhere near by?

Why dont you try watching the 10,000 videos of exhaust systems for our cars rather than ask a question that could actually lead to 20+ pages of redundancy.

And of course it only took 5 seconds for the next post to recommend an Akra system even though the OP wanted something "less expensive".
Do you guys all get a vig from Akrapovic to mention it in EVERY SINGLE EXHAUST DISCUSSION REGARLESS OF ANY CIRCUMSTANCES?

I agree. If we were only allowed to post threads on stuff that hadn't been discussed before, we wouldn't have anything to type.

the Eisenmann exhaust is a great exhaust for the M3, for the price...you can't go wrong. Sure you will find cheaper, but the quality of the Eisenmann is top notch.

I had it on my E93 M3, and loved it!

I ordered the Eisenmann Race from IND before even getting my new car, the M6. I had the exhaust before I had the car.

GO EISENMANN!!

But it is a forum, and the OP has every right to ask his own questions. But the answers should be relevant to the question being asked. Thats all.
He actually said "better or less expensive". Looks like he got the "better" suggestion with the Akra. Now someone needs to provide a "less expensive" option...

And that's because Newbies like you think that "money isnt an issue." Well kid, it probably isnt when it's your father's.
I agree with the 6k being a lot of money for an aftermarket exhaust, especially for an M3.

I know that some Ferrari & Lamborghinis exhaust go for around that much from the dealers....and thats for a Ferrari or a Lambo...and its from a dealer.

Some people would say 3k is a lot for an aftermarket exhaust, let alone 6k

Exactly! And it's probably only going to get worse.

When I do the exhaust on my car (very soon) Eisenmann is the way I'm going; no doubt.
