Question about smartphone integration and cradles

On my e93 recent order, I included the smartphone integration option. I currently have a blackberry and an iphone. Is it easy to buy cradles for both and just snap in the cradle I need at that particular time - or are the cradles something more permanent that the dealer needs to install?

I believe you snap them in and order from a dealer, although the cradles available do not appear to be that current for some phones (iPhone 4). Also, there appears to be several new cradle options, including a more recent one (A/V) that may (hopefully) have capability for the BMW ConnectedDrive stuff (6NR).
