Simple Mods to increase Power

Can anyone suggest any simple mods to increase the performance of my car that will not void the waranty?

There is a ton of stuff that you can do... some mods are filter, exhaust, pulley...
Check out the engine, transmission, exhaust section... much more info there.

Exhaust, filter replacement, pulleys and software. BMW cannot void the warranty outright for just having the mods, however if there is an engine issue that is tied to a performance mod, then the repairs would not be covered under warranty.

software will void your warranty as if there is anything wrong they will point it to the software...that is altering something that is messing with the car's management system.

if you do intake, exhaust or pulleys...that is something you can get away with.

if you do software the listen to the vendor...bring it in the dealership when it has an issue...i highly doubt the vendor will pay for crap when things go wrong and say sorry.

Either going with with a Performance Filter or Stage 2 Intake tract as well as a power pulley will get ~20hp while keeping well under $1K. A Challenge X-Pipe upgrade will remove the secondaries and give a sizable jump in hp as well as increase exhaust tone.

We highly recommend the Macht Schnell & Challenge items, others should be able to chime in with their experiences. Feel free to email or call if you have any questions.
