Did anybody know about this C63 Model for Canada?

Yeah I saw that on WCF before the weekend. Had I just ordered a C63 rather than an M3 I'd be on the phone with Mercedes scrambling to change my order and nab one those 30 special editions.

Then I wrote off all torque converter automatics until I reach my midlife crisis. Now it looks like I'll be able to go my whole life without owning more than one torque converter (the Charger) as DCT's propagate.

I've literally put $0 in to it. I have a 4 barrel carb sitting in a box, but what it really needs is a new exhaust manifold and exhaust to go along with the 4 barrel carb. I have the upgraded disc brakes on the front from a later generation Challenger, so more speed wouldn't be too scary in a straight line. Steering however is a BITCH. I just cruise around at about 30 mph when ever I take it out. Do you have any pictures of either of the Camaro's?

[QUOTE=ns2000x;8704385]Just the tiny 318 base motor. She's slow, heavy and handles like a boat.

No pictures of the Camaro's that I have Found.I would still like to have an early Camaro with modern suspension & drivetrain.Project for another time when I have money! |

Gorgeous and I saw the brochure for this over at Oakville Mercedes when I had my car in for service. Really nice upgrades on an already upgraded ride.
2 problems with the C63. Doesn't come in a 2 door and can't get them with a stick shift. Other then that it's to drool for. Last edited by markymarc1979; 01-17-2011 at 01:14 PM.. |

Were you able to snap any photos? Of course 2012 will eschew in the Coupe, but you'd already know that.

I made a mistake on my post so keep your filthy mouth shut and mind your own damm business about what I drive and what I want to drive. Nobody cares about your opinion.
I saw the official brochure and detailed specs on the car. Not the actual car. I should have been more clear. |

Either way, we won't see this until the autoshow in a few weeks I guess.

For some reason Gearhead has to put his 2 cents in on every post. Regardless, it looks really nice and I can't wait to see it in person.

Dude for some reason you target every post I make and add your opinionated comments. Please try to be more open minded on this forum. I know it's an M3 forum and probably Mercedes cars aern't that accepted here, but seriously man, give it a rest.

It would seem like MB is trying to load the remaining 6.3l V8 by creating a "limited edition" before the nex gen engine is due out. Just my opinion !

It is the 911 strategy incarnate. Only hopefully with the Merc we will be able to tell the difference from one generation to the next. However most of the rumors of late are indicating that the sedan may maintain the NA6.2L V8 while the Coupe and Coupe BS use a NA and twin turbo version of the 5.5L V8 respectively. Interesting times in AMG land.
