New to Toronto and looking for BMW dealer for servicve

Hi all,

I'm new to Toronto from Calgary and brought my E90 M3 with me and I'm looking for a reliable BMW dealer in Toronto or the GTA area. Wondering if anyone here can provide some insight on a dealer to go with.

I'm due for an oil change right now so I'd like to get it done ASAP!

Thanks!

Where you located in the city?
IMO, all the BMW dealers in the GTA are not that great.
I generally use Parkview BMW at Leslie and Eglinton.

I've been to BMW Autohaus (Thornhill),
Manranello BMW (Vaughan) and currently Town+Country BMW (Markham).

All give standard service...nothing special.

And if you didn't buy your car at the dealer, then they would give you the standard party line...ie. No loaner for servicing etc...

Oil change should be okay at any dealers...just make sure your oil level showed at top level after...last time i did my oil change at Town+Country...i have to go back for them to top up...it's stay at mid way for about one month.

I've been reasonably happy with BMW Toronto. If you live/work downtown that's a good option.

+ 1 Great dealership, most SA's are from mississauga who know me well...so when i worked in downtown it was very convenient!

Endras BMW in Whitby is outstanding. Everyone there will attend your needs and go out of their way to make your experience positive.

Sorry for resurrecting an old thread. Recently, after several weeks of looking at 335s, I ended up picking up a lightly used 2011 E90 M3 (took a test drive and could not get the sound of the V8 out of my head) - and, as a result, i am also looking for a good dealership to service the car.

I purchased my car at a BMW dealership in the US - the difference in pricing was significant. Has anyone with a US import had any trouble dealing with Canadian dealerships for service?

i live in Oakville and work downtown, so Budds and BMW Toronto are the most convenient. I've seen the good feedback on Toronto; does anyone have any feedback on / experience with Budds?

Thanks guys. I'm loving the M3.

I have bought a number of cars from Budds and have been servicing them there for the past 8 or so years. Have always had a good experience. I would definitely give them a shot and decide for yourself. I doubt you will have any trouble dealing with a local dealership for service etc. I believe though you will not be entitled to the "Free" Maintenance with a US Car.

Welcome to the forum!

I had the misfortune to buy my car from 'Dumbview/Parkview'. At my first service everything was done well except the actual oil change. I had to come back the next day as they forgot to change the oil. To this day 'Dumbview' keep telling me the Competition Package is not available on a sedan.

I have heard good things about BMW Toronto, I would look them up.

Same ownership of the 2 dealers. It is not only Parkview as it seems very few of the dealers & salespeople know very little of this option judging on the numbers of the PM's that I got on the comp package after I ordered mine. The problem lies with BMW on this issue not the dealers.

I respectfully disagree. The stealership have been a massive pain in my ass since I purchased the car, ZCP was one of the minor issues. I have separate threads on the other issues. BMW Toronto was not owned by Dumbview until very recently.

3 years ago in July they bought Toronto BMW which I would not call recent.

As well as the techs within the dealer. These 2 will treat you really well (you can use me as a reference - esp for you modded guys E.G. "your CEL is on due to your drop in air filter being aftermarket, so we have to flag you" type of thing.).

We could go back and forth on how recent this is, bottom line is I dont have a lot of respect for them based on my service experience and having to get a lawyer involved to address my issues. Maybe others have had better experiences and thats fine, good luck to them.
