Nope. Nadda. Despite harassing my SA regularly, he tells me that they haven't received any more information regarding pricing, allocation, ETAs etc.

It starts Feb 18th.
A few months ago when we first heard when, approximately, 1Ms would be available, I think they indicated that it would be spring/summer in the US and later here. |

Well, it seems the US pricing was heavily influenced by the declining USD value. Hopefully, they'll keep the CD value when they price this one out like Porsche just recently did.

I found some informations telling that the Canadian version of the 1M will be more equiped than the american one. I hope that they are not just talking about the heated seat... But on the same article their expectation were around 60 000$ cdn ?!?!?!?!? Well if anybody from bmw Canada read this I think that by doing this you will drop the 1M selling numbers for sure. Person will import them from USA or go to cpo M3.

An S4 starts at $52500 Canadian. I realize they are two very different cars, but it is a very fine machine for that money (some would argue a lot more car as well). I can't see myself paying 60 for a 1M. Way too much when it's going for 47 south of the border.

I am doubtful that it would be 60k when the dollar is getting stronger and even if you tack on 10k more to the 135 it's around 55k. I could justify that. Also this is more equivalent to the rs4 where the 135 is more akin to the s4.

There is my source the text is in french. But they are talking about the amount of cars we will receive in Canada 200 units of the 1M with more equipment and MSRP around 60 000 (based on estimation) |

I would say this for anyone that values any dollar that they earn... that a MSRP of $60,000 is a laughing joke that would sicken any customer away from BMW Canada right away. It is bad enough that they don't let you test drive an M-car without putting money down for it first. But to completely rip people off is an unwise marketing decision. Let us not forget that they charge a premium of $12,000 for a new M3 which already is borderline We can all live without this car... m-pure Having sat in this vehicle at the Detroit auto show, it is really nothing spectacular to BEHOLD... realistically it is just a wide car with some really great performance under the hood and industry leading adjustable bolster seats (something that we were not able to find in other vehicles at the same price range at Detroit). A fat steering wheel and some handling is not enough to justify that kind of price hike. Why not make the car $68,000 and then continue to claim that it has nothing to do with an M3 |

I went and saw it in Detroit Sunday. It is a damn nice car, but I saw a lot of damn nice cars that day.
My biggest takeaway impression is that a 1M is all about what's underneath that shiny orange skin. The cosmetic changes are a nice touch, but certainly wouldn't justify any more than a couple thousand dollar premium. BMW's pricing in Canada is not in touch with the competing manufacturers. I love BMW, but I'm not going to piss my money away. 60k would be far beyond reason. An S4 starts at 47 in the States and 52 in Canada. I'm offended if BMW thinks I will pay an additional 8k premium just to drive one of their cars. I hope that article is mistaken. |

60K is very steap indeed, but if there are only 200 cars allocated to Canada, I am sure as expensive as it is, BMW will be able to find that many customers willing to pay the price. So much for making this an ///M car for the (Canadian) masses though...

Ok, so the 60k msrp, and 200 car allocation is pure speculation, right? Where are you guys getting these numbers? If the car is 60k, i'm out. It's not THAT special.

I don't get what the big deal is. $60K is only a $5K premium over what my 135 came out being. I was told BMW will build as many as they need to fill demand.

The big deal is, our friends south of the border get to pay 47k while we get to pay a speculated 60k. All while the canadian dollar is stronger than the usd. I understand there may be higher tariffs here, but not 13k worth. You think 60k is a fair price? What would the folks in the land of the free be saying if they had to pay 60k?
