iCarbon SM-54 N54 Downpipe
Well, being how THIS thread and its sister arouse so much interest in great capabilities iCarbon has for making exquisite pieces, as a response to a great amount of PMs, I'm just making a new thread to showcase some pics for the SM-54 N54 Downpipe even though we won't be getting our batch for another couple of weeks.
Here's some pics. The SM-54 will come with the same treatment the SM-55 gets to improve the structure of the metal. The last picture is of the SM-55 already treated, as where the others are of the RAW SM-54. I am adding these three pics of the unreleased SM-54 so you can appreciate the quality of the welds before the optimization of the structure of the metal process that gives it that matte titanium look. Catted version will be available. MSRP should be in the high 700's for non catted, and in the 800's for the catted.
But as soon as we get confirmation of a delivery date we will probably run a special where you can save a good amount of CASH on the preorder. We say this only because we don't like to run pre-orders that will last longer than 2 weeks, if that long. |

I will be swapping out my Macht Schnell catless DP's for a set of these coated. From the positive reviews from Harold with the N55 pipes and the amount of time they took with these they should be sweet! Will be out testing these guys on the track soon! DTMrack keep us posted!!!

AR, Macht Schnell and CP-e DP's are freakin all great pipes, each with their own minor drawbacks with fitment. What I would like to see is someone build a DP with a flex section (like stock pipes)...would make things safer.

To answer accurately first, non-catted version needs to by dyno'd. On average race cats suck 7-12HP from DP's. (from varying manufactures).
