Pulled over

After 1 month of spirited driving in this awesome machine, it finally happened: I got pulled over.

Me: Hello, officer.
Cop: What's up?
Me: Yeah... I know.
<Checks my documents>
Cop: Fast car. How much horsepower?
Me: 414.
Cop: The problem with fast cars is that you can't drive them fast, unless it's an on-ramp. I know what it's like too. I have a Mustang, 500 horsepower. ...I'm giving you a warning. Try to keep your foot off of it.

The cop was pretty cool for not writing me up!

Some officers are pretty cool if you admit your mistake. Is the ones that argue with the offices that get the tickets.

I think it actually has more effects than giving ticket as well

It will never happen to me though, as soon as I get pulled over, they see my radar detector and I know for sure I am going to get the ticket.

thats awesome. i got pulled over by a cop like that twice in socal. i felt lucky and i still got the message w/o having to pay $500 buck to the state. such a better out come

I bought my M3 while my license is restricted.. if they catch me I'm sure they'll hang me right there.. for the record I have NEVER gotten out of a ticket, I even got tickets for my tint windows (3 times)... only one more week until my restriction is done.. guess it doesn't help that my commuter car is a FX50s (396hp) :-)

I thought I was getting a ticket for sure, in the beginning. I remember saying something like, "It's so tempting to drive too fast." He replied, "And this time it's going to be expensive."

nice. i got a handicapped parking ticket today by a florida sheriff. 2nd day with the car here and effed in the a. I pulled in for a second and he rolled up behind me, jumped out with a camera and took a picture, then proceeded towards me.

I was just putting on my favorite song as i spotted him in my rearview. No doubt i jumped out of the car slammed the door before he could get a smell of what was going on and just handed him my license, said im really sorry - i was just waiting for my bro. do what you got to do sir."

Took that ticket like a champ. i guess it is because he saw the NY plates and the V1 he instantly took the picture... thats over $1000 to parking tickets now. fuck.

Lots of cops are like that one. It's how you handle yourself that makes the difference. I've been let go after a 100+ mph stop on PCH. I've also been ticketed when going 10 over. Bottom line is you get tickets when you deserve them and sometimes you don't.

Awesome experience. Years ago, I was pulled over in my Camaro by a state trooper so that he could ask me who painted it!!!!!

He was like, "Sorry to have to do this to you but I have to ask, Who painted this thing?"

I would never admit anything to an officer or think I am doing them a favor by telling them anything. Most of them will still give you a ticket regardless. No good deed goes unpunished.

Some cops are nice, some suck, just like all the rest of us. One thing is for sure, if you try to BS them on a traffic stop you WILL get a ticket. You don't have to admit anything, but you can still try not to give them any sh1t, maybe joke with them a little, and if it's a nice cop you might get a pass.

Unfortunately, it seems like all the good cops are disappearing and being replaced by douche-bags.
