first impression of first time riders in your M3?
What is generally the first impression of first time riders in your M3?
I got into an M3 for the first time a few days ago while the dealer was driving the car out of the parking garage. My first impression was - OMG - I had no idea that the M3 was so badass! So I'm guessing that you have experienced similar reactions from first time riders in your M3. I'm guessing that you can see the reaction on their face. I'd be interested to hear your experience with this! |

That's true - the interior is head and shoulder above other BMW's. The interior of other BMW's just feels spartan IMHO - like they haven't changed that much from the 1980's.
I love the racecar-inspired side-view mirrors too. They are subtle indicator of what is about to happen! |

This will be my 5th M car. So when I test drove the E92 for the first time my breathe was not taken away, but that's not to say anything bad about the car.
However when I first rode in a 2001 Laguna Seca blue M3 I almost creamed myself! lol

I know this may sound weird but the first time I ever sat in or drove the M3 ..... was when I sat in my own M3 for the first time.. and drove it out of my dealers lot .. It sounds crazy but I was so happy that I waited ... it was like this MEGA-AWESOME-TREAT!! ..

funny .. it also shows the enormous good will the bmw has built up in the m3 brand. i remember being in high-school and college and dreaming of the day i would own my own m3 ... i remember being super jealous of kids whose parents were rich enough to buy the kid a m3. i must own one ... even though i know it isn't particularly rational.

I sold my bikes and finally decided to get me my dream car... Financially, I could finally afford to get one too. there was no question in my head and no need for a test drive.. I just knew that this would be the right, perfect car.. and it is!! .. my wife is usually hates my "car choices" (I had a s2000 before that she hated) .. but she absolutely loves the M3.. she really likes the cabin comfort features, heated seats etc.. she doesn't think it is too loud at all .. (at least when I'm not revving it all in all I am extremely happy and I never felt like I had to test drive the m3.. |
