New M3 owner- Got a chance to take some pics today.

Hi everyone,

As a former devoted B5 S4 owner, I can truly say this car is AMAZING. Even though it does not pull like my former stage 3+ S4, I don't care! It makes the right sounds, it looks good and feels good.

Some of you might recognize the car. The previous owner was extremely meticulous (I thought I had a bad case of OCD ) and took care of it very well. He was also one of the most pleasant individuals I have ever dealt with.

Glad to join the family!

S4 pics!

Congrats on making the jump, can you post up some pics of your S4? I had a 2000 Laser Red with silver nappa a few years back and loved it until the maintenance got to me (TBB, cv boots, o2's, etc)

Here are some pics I found of the S4. Maintenance was not bad as long as you know what you are doing. I pretty much learned every bolt on that car.

Previous owner did however I did the same on my past cars. You need a high temp decal and then spray it or brush some high temp clear coat on the decal so it stays on there nice and clean.

I'm an electro-mechanical engineer, I had no problem doing the work, my problem was I lived in a downtown condo with street parking, didn't have a driveway/garage and was putting 30-35k on the car a year. Working on the car in Ohio winter's got to me and I sold to a guy who eventually went stage 3 with her. I still love those cars, classic look.

Yours looks clean and well put together, I had a set of Fliks as well but I was still riding monster truck high!

I see how that can get in the way. Mine for some reason was trouble free. I always found myself fixing other S4's in the community. I missed mine so much after I sold it that I bought 2 other ones afterwards and then it finally hit me that I wanted something else. Great looking cars though...the 2.7t is a great engine as well IMO.
