low mileage
howzit guys
is it "healthy" for an m car to stand for 2-3 weeks at a time. i fly a lot on business trips, so my car is parked off most of the time. i do an average of only 500km a month, unless i go on holiday which is about twice a year! |

You are a sad person...
I can't stop using the freaking thing. I got two other cars at home but everytime I drive the others I see another M on the road and wish I would be driving mine that day. Please do us a favor and drive the freaking thing.

Its fine. My car sits for weeks at a time sometimes.
I just make sure its clean, has fresh gas, and add a battery tender to it. If i know it will be longer than 4 weeks then i throw in fuel stabilizer in the gas tank before i leave.

+1 on the battery tender... Our Z3 sits for weeks at a time and always runs fine but before we got a battery tender this killed the battery in the few months since it stopped being a daily driver.
