Hey guys, I'd thought I'd share this with you all.
For lunch, I decided to order take out from a Vietnamese restaurant in Oakland. I called 15 mins before to place and order and then headed out to pick up my food. After arriving, there was street parking right in front of the restaurant, which I gladly took. Being cheap, I did not want to pay the parking meter for 5-10 mins of parking as I only plan on running inside, paying for my food and then jetting off.
Low and behold, my food was not ready, so I found an empty table to wait for my food. I was surfing the web with my Iphone and did not pay attention to my surroundings. Once I was done surfing M3Post and what not, my food was still not ready. I looked up and noticed a parking maid behind my car. In my mind, I was screaming "oh shiet!" because of my cheapness, I will not have to pay more for something so stupid. But on a closer look, the parking maid looked confused...hehehe. Just as I was about to run out, my food was ready, so I picked it up and jetted off. I got there, appologized to the parking maid, and said I was on my way to pay for a parking. Luckily, she let me off the reason?
THANK YOU EURO PLATES she looks soo confused while trying to punch in my euro plates....Now I hope my plates never come in.

Huh? Do you have euro plates with fake numbers on your car until the real plates come in? If so, you'd think that would be a pretty big no-no compared to not having a plate on at all...
