Simota Racing Sport air intake system

I am thinking of getting this intake as an alternative to the BMWP CF intake.

My searching the forums here and at BabyBmw suggests that the BMWP one doesn't give any real power increase, just sound.
The alleged dyno results for the Simota suggets ~ 7 kW increase in power...
Also, the whole thing is CF.
Anyone seen it, have it, used it?

I would suggest that this is not a good value for money mod.

Looks freaking awesome though! Doesn't look like it would fit the N54 though?

No; 130i - N52 engine.

I don't think they make one for the 135i.

Can also give a pleasing intake noise. Does offer Highway Patrol something to ponder though

looks just as good as the BMWperformance intake and the price is substantially more reasonable for something that is classed as cosmetic mod

Can you believe I was quoted $240 for just the BMWP K&N Filter from BMW...!!!???!!!
