ESS in detail by IND.

One of the most common topics of conversation when talking about a supercharger kit is the simplicity of it’s design. Many can design a complex system, but it is much more difficult to design a product that is elegant in it’s simplicity. After many requests, we finally have a detailed exploded view of the ESS kit.

Wow - check out those high-quality, performance zip-ties ... lol

Seriously tho, looks like a nice kit and a lot of ESS SC owners seem to love it.

I like to being able to look at all the parts when buying a kit like this.

I miss my SC M3 so much.

Need to get a new project going, I'm thinking a 4,6 low comp high boost SC project

Any ideas Nate?

Will need 8psi at least which will mean a 80mm pulley and that will need 8 rib belt so custom pulley and separate belt to drive SC

We have custom belt drive systems available for higher boost on in-house custom built engines.

And I recommend max 4.4L on high boost SC. Leave stock bore.

I sold it last month :
Bought a X6M which is currently waiting for some goodies from Nate

I needed a more comfortable DD.
Next M3 project will be a weekend toy, and a little more hardcore

Thanks AJ, I will probably buy an older M3 DCT with mileage and then rebuild motor as per above. Will be in touch with you for ideas on how to proceed.
Maybe its better to just import a rebuild motor from you guys with all software etc, otherwise you coming here to get it running. Isnt there a swap out option?

Nice ... I was thinking of doing the same but I can't seem to get myself to let the M3 go.

Some food for though if m3 isn't your DD which makes it much mire cost effective and more bang for your buck
1. High mileage cheaper PP m3
2. No Idrive
3. New BMW performance seats which makes interior feel new
4. Remove rear seats
5. Put in roll cage
6. Respray custom colour or full wrap
7. KW clubsport suspension
8. Akrapovic catless full system
9. BBS F1 in 9x19 and 10,5x19
10. BMW ZCP boot lid spoiler
11. Challenge front lip spoiler
12. 4,4 ltr low compression motor
13. ESS high boost SC
14. Lots of power, low comfort level, big smiles

Done
