Cobb is a very big name in the subaru community.
I had one on my STI. Good and conservative off the shelf tunes. I wonder if they will have one for the N55??

This is good news since I'll be joining the N55 family in a few months
Being a former WRX owner, I pre-ordered an Accessport sometime around 2004 when they first came around as I wanted a conservative tune without dropping big bucks. It was a much larger, uglier device back then with a text-only green-backlit LCD so they've come a long way No need to hack up ECU wires/harnesses like some of the other solutions - it tuned my car completely via the OBD2 port. My favorite was the ability to change maps on the fly. "Valet mode" that dropped the boost way down and anti-theft maps were awesome features. Always nice to be able to pull and clear codes without needing an OBD2/CAN reader too. These guys make good performance products and competition is a good thing. Looking forward to some more info! |

This is going to take things to a whole new level... Figures they'd release it AFTER I sold my 1er. Guess it's one more reason to pick up a 1-series ///M!

Finally! I hope Cobb comes through. This isn't the first flash loader setup though.

How dare you!!! We DO need more options for the n54. The n55 will just have to wait! lol, jk. Looks like $595 with included off the shelf maps. Hopefully they will not charge some bobo BMW tax. |
