Rough idle ??

Well I am new to the M3 world and still getting used to the car. It is very different from my EVO 9 that i sold a few weeks back. When I am parked the car has what seems to be a ruff ideal, not ruff like cutting up. but almost like a ticking sound its really hard to even explain. there are no lights on the dash so I am assuming all is okay.

I have always been over paranoid about my cars but I thought I would ask

Ah, thanks for clarifying. I had no idea what he was referring to originally.

OP: Our engines idle with a rough and metallic character, especially when cold. It's nothing to worry about.
