the MF is good, but the residuals went down also. Ran my lease (36m, 15K) each way (October / November) and the difference is only $1 once you factor in everything including the holiday credit, so essentially, things didn't change for me.

Ooops, I didn't catch that; good point, thanks. I (rhetorically) wonder if we can choose the Oct rate/residual + holiday credit...?

Not unless the car is already on order and you locked the earlier rates in. If the payments wash out you're better off with the lower residual if there's any chance you will buy the car at lease end.
