Winter wheel size- will it work
2008 E92 M3 Coupe (Eibach springs)
It appears stock winter setup is 18x8 wheels with 235/40's and a ET20 offset. Considering a set of 18x8.5 ET38 with 235/40 front and 255/40 rear rubber. Staggered. How bad is this offset at the end of the day, primarily looking at- (1) will it rub anywhere and (2) how quickly will it shoot the bearings and (3) can it be easily fixed by spacers? Ideas? Any help is appreciated. -M Last edited by PhYrE; 11-04-2010 at 10:26 PM.. |

I used to run that set-up. I ran a 12mm spacer in the rear. It worked out well. The dealer would install the spacers, but you will have to supply them.
