Battery compartment - Hold down strap

I have a new 128i and was wondering if the battery should have a hold down strap. Mine does not. Also noticed in early picture a bag to the left of the battery maybe a first aid kit? Assume some dealers provide and mine did not?

The first aid kit is a small black bag. Not sure if it's provided in the US. I did Euro Delivery, and it's a law there - all cars on the road have to have a first aid kit and a warning triangle. So ED cars get those.

Interestingly, when I dropped the car off for shipping, I was told I had to hand-carry them home, because they weren't considered standard features of a US car, so wouldn't make it thru customs, if left in the car.
