How does the bulbout warning system work for headlight halo aftermarket replacements
Hey there
I'm running a pair of DEPO82 headlights with MTEC hid kit + (what i believe to be) parachute relay/harness fix for the bulbout warnings All was well until I purchased a pair of LED replacements for the 4halogen bulbs (16 total) in each of the 4rings which powered the daytime lights Following this I've been getting bulbout warnings. Undoubtedly the reduced power output of the LEDs compared to the Halogens is at fault So my questions are 1. Is there anyway to recode the bulbout warning power requirement for headlights to suit the new LEDs? 2. What of Error Cancellers? I'm Hesitant to get one because the HIDs were already workin fine, & from what I'm aware standard error cancellers offset 35W to 55W, which I think is more than the offset required for the Halogen-LED ring bulbs Are there lower resistance cancellers out there or something? 3. What are the other options? ps: the full detailed review thread on the LEDs is here: http://www.1addicts.com/forums/showthread.php?t=440443 |
