E70 LCI vs. NON-LCI

hey everyone i am new over here in the x5 section but i just got my girl a 2011 x5 35d and we love the truck ... but she wants to start modding .. i was curious as to what are some differences between our lci and ones that are not lci.. and will non lci e70 parts fit an lci e70 ?? thanx in adavce to anyone who responds

while doing research the only things i found was front and rear bumper and tranny.. but if i buy stuff like fender flares or springs or running boards stuff like that will it make a diiference?

Engines are different too. BMW claimed something like 4000 different parts, so who knows what fits and what doesn't. I think to be safe for any given mod you have to check with the vendor on what works with the LCI refresh.

The 35d engine is the same in 2010 and 2011, only the gas engine options changed.

Other than that, I don't know what would be interchangeable. I've got the Performance Grilles, and I'm not even sure those are identical for the LCI model...

I think lighting should work. I'll let you know, I've just ordered white bulbs for the angel eyes.

Fender Flares are the same, I ordered non-LCI and they fit fine on my LCI. Also running boards "should" be the same but I haven't installed them myself.

Painted Reflector is *different* on LCI, bigger and longer than non-LCI.

Spring, same.

Bulbs, same.

Kidney Grills are same (swapped mine on my LCI), the mesh grill I think is not the same.
