Anybody else going to Tracdaze on Shenandoah this weekend?
https://www.trackdaze.com/index.php?...hw_attendees=1
I'm meeting 2 Corvette owning friends over there this Saturday, I was wondering if anybody else is going, or if you have any opinion on Tracdaze (my first time tracking with them). Weather will be good (65 and sunny) and the variety of cars present is pretty impressive. There's even a Radical SR3, I wonder if I can bag a ride in that...

http://www.m3post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=435847 Probably should have posted here instead. I'm bringing a friend who's a car guy but hasn't been willing to man up and drive himself. I'm hoping a day at the track will convince him. This will be my first event with TrackDaze too, but I like their system of student/instructor evaluations (especially if you actually get the feedback). Most clubs seem to limit feedback to professionalism, communication, and that sort of thing. TrackDaze also seems to ask about performance skill (for students). Look forward to meeting you on Saturday. Are you attending the NJMP event toward the end of Oct with the Reisentoter Region PCA? I'm thinking about doing that one too.

Likewise. It's the Thunderbolt course too, so nice and technical. More fun in my opinion!
https://www.motorsportreg.com/index....DF10177833A98F (if you're interested) If I do end up going, it'd probably only be for Friday. They have options for Friday only, weekend only, or all three days. Until I get some track equipment (pads, wheels, etc) though, I figured I'd stick with the single-day outings. Saturday will be my first time tracking the E90 - and first time at the track in a couple years, actually, so I'm gonna take it real easy to start with. Glad to be going again after so long. I'm Chris, btw. See you Saturday.

And to give you something to think about - if you want to do Summit again next year, try these guys: http://colonialchallengecup.com/default.aspx It's a charity event run twice a year typically - the range of cars is amazing with some $$$ exotics. They run some $25 charity rides which gave me an opportunity to ride in a ZR1, 360 Challenge and Ariel Atom. A bunch of us will probably go next May.

There's a Potomac PCA 2-day event at Summit Point Main at the end of October. You should come. These events are relatively cheap, the instructors are generally very good, they're not afraid of pushing you (full throttle earlier, brake later) once they're comfortable with your line, and you get very detailed feedback across many categories including performance. You get a logbook where all your evaluations are recorded. When your instructor recommends you for promotion to a higher group, you are evaluated in the higher group by a different instructor. You also get free tech inspection a week before the event. It's quite structured, but the atmosphere is very friendly.
